Yesterday at our childbirth class we were discussing uh, pain. The pain you'll feel in labor. Our instructor put a chart up on the board, a scale of 1 - 10 next to a bunch of coordinating smiley faces.
Caleb leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Say 8! Say 8!"
We spent the next 10 minutes trying to muffle our giggles. You know when you're at something serious, some function where laughter would be completely inappropriate, and you're hit with a fit of giggles and it makes it that much more difficult to control yourself?
That's what happened to us.
If you haven't heard of Brian Regan, I highly recommend looking him up or renting his stand up routines. They're all equally hilarious and perfect for lightening the mood while sitting in an 8 hour long child birth class.
Well, you can just trust me on that one.

K that's so funny. Ben and I did the same thing in our childbirth class. We were watching a movie and it showed a bigger woman laboring in the shower. She had a funny/painful look on her face- It was hilarious and we couldn't stop laughing. Apparently, it was only funny to us, no one else was making a peep! And yes, it's bad when I start laughing about something, I can't stop! So funny though, man 8 hr class is too much, they are good though. You are getting closer, so exciting!

Last night after Bri got off the phone with Cabe he said, "I can't wait till we get to go to an all day birthing class!"
The funny part?
He was serious.

So funny! Are you going to have this baby naturally? Really? No drugs? If you are then you are my hero. I did that with Kaden but certainly not on purpose! My epidural didn't work and I had to really try to remember how to breathe right! But, if you are having an epidural hopefully you won't ever get to an 8 on the pain scale. But, either way everyone should go to a birthing class just for the experience! Wahoo! You are getting close! So excited to see that baby.

Percy and I love Brian Regan. We never get tired of listening to him. Did your instructor actually talk about "pain" or maybe it was "pressure?"
