Showcasing the power of Nixon

Conversation on the way to my doctor's appointment yesterday:

Me: I like that you're wearing your watch, even though the battery is dead. (in Bamboo)

Caleb: (looks at me and grins) I realized I could just look at my phone for the time.

(Long pause)

Caleb: Then I realized that means I'm basically wearing a bracelet. (Rolls it around his arm)

(Shorter pause)

Caleb: Then I decided that I didn't care.

Also good to note, the battery has been dead for at least a month now. He's worn it the entire time and will continue to do so, I'm sure, until we finally get him a new battery. And unless I get super ambitious, that won't happen until we go home for Christmas and take it to my uncle's shop.

This is serious Nixon love.
