We had one of THOSE days today. When the sky is gloomy, the house is cold, my head is aching, and when Wyatt decides that earlier is better, (I've been having to wake HIM up at 8:30 previously...) that 45 minutes is sufficient for a nap, and that napping, really, isn't in his plans for the day, making each one a struggle.
Just a week or so ago, he was taking three hour naps in the morning, and then two shorter naps in the afternoon. I am learning more and more that as soon as you think you have a schedule going, a routine down, to watch out. Change is a constant, with babies. Good thing he's such a happy kid.
It's just...
I miss three hours naps.
I'm sorry! Just like you said, it seems like just when you get a schedule going, he ups and changes it! We are going through a "wake up at 1:30 in the morning every night" phase, and let me tell you... ugh! horrible. The things we do for these little guys we love so much right?
