Start of summer in Cali'

(I am going to completely ignore the fact that I packed exactly 1.5 boxes today, leaving me with two days to pack the rest of the house. I am insane.)

We had a fabulously wonderful weekend. Our friend Turleybenson was in town, along with her deliciously adorable Flurg, who I got to meet for the first time. Good heavens, that kid is yummy. He has the flirtiest smile I've ever seen, and he flashes it frequently. And his eyelashes!! Don't even get me started. They're a mile long and black and curly and gorgeous. Why do the boys always get the great eyelashes?

Anyway, we had a lovely time at the park, pool, and just sitting around.

Almost all the pool pictures are too bright, which is my fault. Though I partially blame Caleb, who wasn't there to fix my mistakes, he was painting his car. So.

Right. My fault.

The three boys! We took a zillion shots, trying to get one good one. Things went from good to...

worse. Well, just for Wy. The other two seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Poor little hungry dude. After I fed him he cheered right up and the two of us got in - Wyatt's first time!

(Again, next time I'm going to pay attention to the camera settings, instead of assuming what worked an hour earlier wasn't going to work then...I am still a novice.)

It was a most excellent weekend. Special thanks to Turleybenson for traveling (alone and with a baby!) and Mark and Bridge for the use of their house (the entire weekend...such sports!). It went by too quickly, in my book.

I know you just put the pictures in chronological order, but I think they also got better as you scrolled down. Wy's chub is my absolute favorite! And his perfect little lips!

Abby's comment is priceless. That picture of Wy crying is so sad... until I saw his rolls. I love little baby rolls.
