This right here is what you might call a cop-out post. A just-returned-from-vacation-still-in-a-stupor post, the one where you're like, DUDE. GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON.
It's just that I have zillions of photos, lots to update, Wy's 10 month post to write, a website to finish tweaking, a HUGE suitcase full of (clean! thanks mom, for the use of your fabulous whirlpool) clothes to put away, and we haven't even made dinner yet.
And I'm ridiculously exhausted. Wy has been either battling molars or is sick, because the last three nights he's decided that the hours of 4:30 - 7:00 am should be filled with crying. Tired, wailing crying. It also didn't help that we were sleeping in the same room, I heard every single rustle and whimper the entire night leading up to The Crying Hours.
I'm leaning towards a cold, since I developed a sore throat this afternoon.
Which also might have something to do with my lack of energy.
Woo.
I do have good news, however. I loaded up my grocery cart today, I mean really loaded, been gone for two weeks loaded, and it rang up under $100. Tell me that's not magical! I don't know how it happened, but I didn't argue. Somebody loves me today.
Also, I bought a watermelon (for Wy, the kid can't get enough), artichokes as big as my head, and a bag full of Honeycrisp apples (my favorite of all apples. I wait all YEAR for Honeycrisp apple season!!). And then I bought two little pumpkins and a gourd to start my Halloween decorations. How awesome is fall?!
Pics and stories and videos, oh my! to follow.

glad you're back at 'er. excited for pics. and, hey, have i ever had a honeycrisp? i don't know that i have.

No way! Honeycrisp are my favorite!!! I actually discovered them out here in Wisconsin. But they are srumdidlyumptious!! Sweet and crisp. The perfect apple. Oh, and an OKAY substitute for them are the pink lady apples. They are at the store before fall so if you can't wait, that might suffice. I wonder if you can grow a honey crisp apple tree. One day, when I have a yard, I am going to look into that.
